LITTLE CAYMAN

The Tortuga Bay trip was to the always popular Little Cayman Beach Resort.  Little Cayman is a site of majestic walls, straight up and down like they were cut with a knife, and covered with amazing corals and sponges.  In the mix is a wonderful assortment of marine life, including many Sting Rays and Eagle Rays.  It is also the home to some tame Nassau Groupers, Lappy, Laddy, and Ralph.

This year, 17 divers and one non diver made the annual trek.  Group leader was Ron Bland.  The seas were a bit choppy due to a hurricane which has passed through recently.  Little Cayman sustained damage but mostly superficial.  It's sister island, Cayman Brac was hit much harder.

All in all, everyone had a great time.  The diving was wonderful, as usual.  A few of our hardy group rented scooters one day and did a tour of the island.  The food was amazing, and the social activities in the Beach Nut Bar in the evenings were fun.  We can't wait to go back.
